Our Purpose
Established in 1982, the Western New Mexico University Foundation is an independent nonprofit 501 (c) 3 corporation existing for the sole purpose of supporting WNMU in all applicable capacities.
As the direct support organization, under the governance of an independent Board of Directors, the University Foundation’s growth is a key asset to the development of our university for the future.
We are committed to soliciting, receiving, distributing and administering donations, gifts and endowments to meet the needs of and benefit WNMU students, faculty, staff, facilities and operations which are not fulfilled through state and federal assistance.
